Teddy gets his first tailored item

There were a wide array of different options for Teddy's valve replacement. They could have gone with a wide array of solutions. Donor tissue was one potential possibility. Another was an artificial metal valve. However, what Teddy is getting is his own custom valve made. They've got him back there, and they measured him and are even now making him a custom valve. I do not know of what material they are making the valve! I realize that I have been horribly deficient in my role as keeper and dissemination of information. Amy's brought it up to me already that I should have asked this question. Once they call with the next update, I'll pass it on.
