Off the ventilator
Teddy is off the ventilator now. At rounds this morning, they were talking about putting him on positive flow from the little nose tubes he's got to give him a little extra oxygen. They're also going to remove the central line IV so that we can hold him more. However, when we got here, one of the nurses had him out and was trying to feed him a little. He didn't go great at it, because he's still short of breath, but after that, Amy got to hold him for about a half an hour, which is pretty awesome. I'm patiently waiting until they take the central IV out, because that's something that is a little tricky to mess around with. So, all in all, we continue to move in the right direction.
