The plan, as we know it

So after Ted* is born, we now have a plan from the hospital about what will happen next. First, Amy will deliver at Riverside. We'll have an hour or two there, and then he'll be transferred to Children's Hospital's NICU. Amy will still be at Riverside for a day or two, in all likelihood. He'll stay at Children's for a couple of weeks, under observation, while the cardiologists plan exactly what's going to be done. Then he'll have his operation, and, after a while to recover, he'll come home. Children's has 24x7 visiting hours, but children aren't allowed in intensive care. So, my guess is that I'll be splitting my time between Riverside and Children's for a couple of days, and then Amy and I will be spending a lot of time at Children's. August 15th we have a tour of Children's planned, and we'll probably have a more detailed course of action there, but that's what we know right now.

*Still just a working name, subject to change.
