In which the gender is revealed
So, Amy and I had been trying to not know the sex of the baby. However, part of all of the "let's see what's going on in there," business that we had to go through involved stuff like genetic testing. In fact, we have a pretty cool genetic result thing that we got back through the testing. One of the early, quick-results tests that we got back was sent to us by one of Amy's doctors. They sent us the fax of the original report, and plainly written on it was "Parents do not want to know sex." And then, on the copy of the results that they sent us was the genotype, indicating that it was going to be a boy. Hey, just because they're doctors, that doesn't mean that they think everything through.
