The News

Here's the deal. I hate Facebook. I mean, I really, really, hate it. I don't like that they're always trying to commercialize my personal info. Sure, Google does that too, but Google doesn't have Farmville, and that makes it slightly less evil. However, as you may have heard, Amy and I are going to be having a child in November, and I knew that I couldn't get away with not having anywhere on line where people could go and see baby pictures or hearing about everything going on. And I surely wasn't sending them via camera-phone to everyone I knew.

So that leads us here. This is, almost certainly, going to be a baby blog. At least mostly. However, I reserve the right to put whatever I want up here. Blogger has all sorts of cool filtering tools so that you can only see the baby-related stuff, or so you can skip the baby-related stuff if that's your thing. I've added the Feedburner "Follow by e-mail" gadget to this, so if you don't want to keep coming here, or if you're addicted to the "ping" of updates from Facebook as it e-mails you to tell you "someone's added something to their profile!" you can still get that digital rush.
